I’ve got your pencil.
Came in today’s mail. Truly a beauty. It’s a (Q2) 1946, green Vacumatic standard. Even came complete with a tin of Sheaffer’s Fineliner lead sticks! Writes exceptionally nicely, and the fit and finish is exquisite. Why don’t they make stuff like this today?
Disposable shmozable…gimme something that’s well-made and I’ll be a happy camper!
Edit (10.30.07): Courtesy of Patrick Rhone, here’s a picture of the pencil. I’m particularly impressed with how the camera captured the depth of the celluloid! Nice work, Patrick! (And to think that he told me in an email, "Sorry man, none of ‘em came out right.")

As if!
Here are the facts, all of the photos I took looked like crap until Ryan here worked em over like an interrogation of a two bit hustler in Photoshop.
Anyone can snap a picture with a point and shoot. The true magic is in the processing. You get the credit friend.
