Short on time today, but wanted to pass along a few tidbits that I’ve picked up over the past couple of days…
- I got an email from Omas introducing a new, all-white version of the new-style Paragon. It’s just for WorldLux, and there’s only 40 of ‘em. All-white body, gold trim, and a fantastic 18K nib, if history repeats itself. Here’s a couple of pictures, borrowed from their website.
- Brian Gray’s enormously successful custom pen business, Pencraft, gets a new name and a new model! From now on, Pencraft will be known as The Edison Pen Company, tipping his hat to Thomas Edison, who was born in his hometown. Read all about it here.
Brian also pays homage to the old Parker Duofolds of the mid-late 1920s in his new Glenmont design. These look very cool, and if they’re anything like the rest of his pens…get on the stick pretty quickly if you’re going to get one soon.

- Lastly, a quick photo from me, just for fun. I always loved the way that this one turned out.

Thanks for the updates, especially Brian’s name change! Out of curiosity, on what notebook is the Conklin resting?
Thanks
ABC
Hi there, and thanks for your comments! The Conklin is resting on a squared Moleskine. If I remember right, it was the larger size.
Hi,
That “new” Omas looks like a reissue of the Bibliotheque version. These used to be plentiful on Ebay; not so much anymore.
I have one of Brian’s pens – he does wonderful work.
Catch up with you on the FPN.
